rather than my eyes.
Subject mine to choose,
rather than someone choose me.
Ideas mine to take,
rather than they tell me what to do.
Capture what is mine,
rather than my body.
I'd rather be behind the camera,
than in front.
I'd rather be the photographer,
than the model.
I know what I am,
not that I'm afraid.
I have to be brave,
and let my hands capture each moment.
